Two Things Called Autopilot

First, a naming problem worth clearing up, because it causes real confusion at checkout. Wisewand uses the word "Autopilot" for two different products.

The Autopilot subscription is new, separate, and billed on top: 77 euros per month per site, with a 3-day trial for 1 euro, cancellable in one click. It does not generate on demand. It runs your blog for you, daily, without you opening the app.

What It Actually Does

You hand it a site address. From there:

• It reads your sitemap. Everything you have already published becomes context, which is what makes the next step possible.
• It pre-answers three positioning questions. What you sell, who you sell it to, and what success looks like in six months. Wisewand drafts the answers from your existing content and asks you to correct them. This took me about four minutes and the drafts were roughly 70% right.
• It builds a 30-day editorial calendar. Not a keyword dump: a sequenced plan you can see and edit before anything goes live.
• It writes and publishes daily. Straight into WordPress or Shopify, images and internal links embedded. Our WordPress setup guide covers the connection step.
• It runs an anti-cannibalisation check. Before writing, it compares the planned topic against your existing posts and drops or reframes anything that would compete with a page you already rank with. This is the feature I did not expect and the one I would miss most.

The Anti-Cannibalisation Check Is the Real Product

Daily AI publishing is not new and mostly it is a bad idea, for one specific reason: volume tools eventually write the fourth article about the same subtopic, the four pages split the same intent, and your original ranking page drops. Everybody who has run a content-at-scale experiment has watched this happen.

Checking each planned topic against the existing sitemap is the mitigation, and it is why this subscription is a different proposition from "an AI writes your blog." It is not perfect - it works on topical overlap, so two articles with different angles on the same product will still both ship - but over a month of daily posts it caught several collisions I would have missed.

The Maths, Honestly

Here is where you have to be careful, because 77 euros sounds small next to a freelancer invoice and the framing hides two things.

It is per site, and it stacks. Run it on three sites and you are at 231 euros a month before a single credit is spent. It is a second line item, not an included feature. Compare that to a Starter plan at $49 a month and the subscription is suddenly the larger cost.

It consumes your credits. One article a day is roughly 30 credits a month. Starter gives you 23. So a single Autopilot site does not fit inside the entry plan: you need Pro at minimum, or a prepaid pack topping you up. Realistic monthly cost for one site running properly: 77 euros of subscription plus a Pro plan at $209, or around 260 euros all in. The comparison that matters is not freelancers. It is you. Thirty articles a month from a writer would cost 2,400 euros and this is obviously cheaper. But the honest baseline is what you would have published anyway. If the realistic answer is four articles a month, you are paying 260 euros to turn four into thirty, and the question becomes whether twenty-six additional mid-quality articles help or dilute the site.

Who Should Buy It

After running it on one site for a month, my read:

• Buy it if you have a site with real topical authority, a wide keyword surface you genuinely cannot cover manually, and a habit of publishing that keeps stalling. Autopilot fixes consistency, which is the failure mode it is actually designed for.
• Buy it for Shopify stores. The Shopify app is approved on the App Store, and product-adjacent daily content is a use case where a wide, shallow net works well.
• Skip it on a new domain. Daily publishing on a site with no authority produces thirty unindexed pages, not thirty rankings. Build the cluster first.
• Skip it in regulated niches. Nothing is reviewed before it goes live. On legal, medical or financial content that is an unacceptable risk.
• Skip it if you cannot name the twenty-six extra articles you want. If you cannot, the calendar will find them for you, and you will not like all of them.

The 1 Euro Trial Changes the Calculus

Until 2026 the standard criticism of Wisewand, and the first line in the cons list of our full Wisewand review, was that there was no way to see real output before paying. The 3-day trial at 1 euro closes that, at least for this workflow. Three days is enough for three published articles on your own domain, which is a far better test than any demo video.

One caution worth stating plainly: the trial covers Autopilot only. It does not unlock the credit-based editor, so if what you want to test is Affiliation Mode, this trial will not show it to you.

Verdict

The Autopilot subscription is the most interesting thing Wisewand has shipped since Affiliation Mode, and the most easily mis-bought. It is excellent at consistency and genuinely thoughtful about cannibalisation. It is not a shortcut to authority, and the per-site pricing punishes portfolios.
